We follow the well-established ADDIE systematic process made up of five stages in the design and development of all of our eLearning and Virtual Reality training.
- Analysis
- Design
- Development
- Implementation
- Evaluation
These include quality checks and sign offs at each stage.
During the Analysis stage we will work with you to analyse the gap between the current performance of the target group and the desired performance. The main outcome of this stage will be a design specification which will outline the learning objectives and give details of how the training will look and be structured. It may be accompanied by a working prototype.
In the Design stage we will create a detailed script of the training, based on the specification describing what trainees will see and do on each screen. Your SMEs will review and add updates and comments on the script.
During Development the signed off script will be used to create the media assets and program everything together using an eLearning development tool such as Articulate Storyline or VR development tool such as Unity 3D. When the programmed material is ready your SMEs will be able to review this and record any changes or problems they spot in an amendment document. All comments are considered, and if appropriate incorporated to make a final version.
During Implementation we will make sure the eLearning or VR app works on your Learning Management System, delivering the training to your staff.
We will support any updates and improvements to the training following any Evaluation that takes place after delivery to ensure the effectiveness of the training.
